Preferred Vendor Discounts for Clients

Purchase discounts for our clients include sails, rigging, pumps, some critical engine parts, membranes, Yacht Transport, and others. The discounts range from at least 5% up to 20%. Yacht School is not affiliated with these vendors and receives no commission or referral. I leveraged the size of our client base to negotiate discounts for you and you alone. A client recently saved thousands over his best prices from other sources. Neither Yacht School nor Bill Rouse warrants the performance of any vendor recommended here or by Bill Rouse.

It may be possible to negotiate the same discount from some of these vendors independently, or the Vendor may offer limited reduced pricing or special purchase conditions that will impact the Preferred Vendor Discount. Therefore, you should always identify yourself as a client before negotiating a price.

PEARL: Yacht in Transit is not a global term; it means different things in different countries. Whether marked with "Yacht in Transit" or not, the import duty is up to the law for that country and sometimes to the buyer, individual customs agent, or a hired agent.

Payment of Import Taxes is always the burden of the Buyer. Some vendors have had buyers lash out at them because they were charged import duty on items marked "Yacht in Transit." If I were one of those vendors, I might refuse to mark a package that way because of the unrealistic expectations of some customers.
