EMEK Marine

From the General Manager RIZA CAGDAS CAKIR:
I share my name with my grandfather who started EMEK, followed by my father.

Today, my brother and I represent the third generation to join our company. We have been involved in this business since childhood. My brother recently qualified as a marine designer and, since graduation as a Marine Engineer, I worked for a number of Super-Yacht yards in Europe, before taking the role of General Manager of Emek Marin in 2010. The customer always was part of our family and business for generations.

The sea presents us with many challenges and is not without some danger. True yachts-people share the risks and the beauty of water with a depth of feeling normally reserved for poets.

We enjoy such people. They bring wonderful stories and share kindly with those who appreciate a yachting lifestyle at sea. My wish is to help more and more people appreciate their yachting and, perhaps, share my vision of a safe global circumnavigation. Emek Marin now has 3 different divisions under a family holding company each aimed at maximizing customer care and satisfaction:

Technical Service and Refit, Retail Chandlery, and Yacht Brokerage.

We specialize in preparing boats for long-distance Cruising. Selling yachts to bluewater cruisers and distributing technical equipment of high-quality brands as well as refitting blue-water cruisers.

Amel Yacht Owners School Clients will receive an additional 10% DISCOUNT on the following EMEK-made items. EMEK installs its products at its facility in Gocek, Turkey, and/or ships its products ready-to-assemble worldwide.
